Lighthouse Chimney Sweeps respects your privacy. This notice explains how information is handled through our website and the Lighthouse CRM Desktop application.

Information we collect
When you contact us or request a booking, we may collect your name, contact details, address and information about the services you require. Our website is hosted by Wix, which may process form submissions and technical information under its own privacy practices. Lighthouse CRM Desktop stores customer, appointment and job information locally on authorised Windows computers used by Lighthouse Chimney Sweeps.

Google Calendar data
If an authorised user connects Google Calendar, Lighthouse CRM Desktop requests permission to create and manage a separate calendar named “Lighthouse CRM Jobs”. The application uses this access only to create, update and remove appointment events generated by the CRM. It does not read or modify unrelated calendars. OAuth credentials are stored securely on the authorised Windows computer. Google user data is not sold, used for advertising or shared with third parties except where required to provide the requested service or comply with law.

How we use information
We use information to arrange and deliver chimney sweeping and stove-care services, manage appointments, issue service records, respond to enquiries and meet legal obligations.

Data retention and security
Information is retained only for as long as needed for business, legal and accounting purposes. Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used to protect it.

Your choices and rights
You may ask us to correct or delete personal information, subject to legal retention requirements. Google Calendar access can be disconnected in Lighthouse CRM Desktop or revoked from your Google Account permissions at any time.
